OWNER/DESIGNER Chris McNeil, P.Eng
Raised not far from the most easterly point in North America, on the rugged coastline of the Atlantic Ocean. Chris grew up in a modest home with an artistic mother and a father who owned a residential construction company. Naturally, his passion for Architecture grew. At the age of 10 with broom in hand, he was put to work on the construction site and was drawn to the satisfaction that comes in watching a project grow from concept to completion.
Chris’ engineering career found him consistently working in areas focused on buildings and facilities. His employment saw him work and live throughout North America with time spent in Ottawa, Texas, California, and Calgary. Motivo Design Group Inc. is a concept Chris hopes will display both his artistic passion for design and his unique practical experience in engineering and construction. Chris is a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia and Motivo Design Group is a member of the Canadian Home Building Association. Chris has previously attained the industry leading designation in Project Management (PMP) in 2007. Past notable employers include National Research Council of Canada, Schlumberger, Kiewit Industrial, Bell Telecom, Suncor Energy, MEG Energy, and Stantec Consulting.
